Alicia first made a name starring in the poorly provocative thriller The Crush. However she also starred in one of the great Sleeper Hits, Clueless. This film made her into a star, and she owns her own film studio now. Unfortunately her next major role was in Batman and Robin, a film which didn't do her credentials any good. Since then she had made a few romanic comedies, with some success.

Cher Horowitz and her friend Dionne, two of the most popular
sophomores in school, play matchmakers for two teachers. Inspired
by their success, Cher takes under her wing Tai, a "clueless"
transfer student. While trying to make an advantageous match for
Tai, Cher attempts to find a boyfriend of her own. Several misfires
take place, due to poor communication, before she finds the
Baldwin of her dreams.

Emily has always been the rich brat who tries to pull every
imaginable stunt to get attention. But one day, as she fakes her own
kidnapping and locks herself in the trunk of a car, a thief steals the
car, with her inside. She is attracted by his reckless lifestyle and the
situation makes her kidnapping the more real and frightening for her
father.

The year is 1962, and the Cold War is reaching its climax, the Cuban Missile Crisis has left Kennedy and Khruschev, USA and USSR, at a stand-off. One suburban American family, headed by Christopher Walken are convinced that bombs will be dropped on US soil, so together with his family enter a bomb shelter, where they spend the next thirty years raising their son, Brendon Fraser. Then in the nineties, when food runs out, Fraser is sent out to find some, at the same time he should be looking for a wife. You can imagine his shock at discovering an era unlike any other. He immediately runs into the beautiful Alicia Silverstone, and they fall in love. Basically a romantic comedy.
