Sandra stars as a computer programmer, who after meeting a stranger, whilst on vacation, suddenly finds her life turned upside down, as her identity has been erased, and in place is the identity of a criminal. She is an expert on computer software, and she holds the key to unravelling a whole host of bizarre hackings going on across the net.

Based on the best selling novel by John Grisham, Carl Lee Hailey, played by Samuel Jackson, guns down two white rapists, who raped his young daughter. A massive case ensues, with Jake Tyler Brigance, played by Matthew McConaughey, taking up the defence, assisted in this by Ellen Roark, played by Sandra. The case ensues with everyone's lives at risk.

Ben Affleck plays a young man, who is on his way to his wedding, when atmospheric conditions take a turn for the worst. It occurs simultaneously as he meets eccentric Sandra. They first meet, as their plane crashes, and Affleck saves her life. This causes her to travel as his companion, which leads to several fiascos with buses, rental cars as well as natural disasters. He soon begins to fall in love with her, and wonders whether cosmic forces are preventing him from keeping his vows.
